Welcome to ELC Reservations, your new tool to reserve ELC studios and equipment!

Fall 2024 sees a soft-launch of our "Creative Media Pathways" canvas badging course. Serving as an onramp to successful creative media projects, these badges with orient you to this reservation tool, our studios and equipment, and to the mindset and work required of those curious about creative media practice. Extended Studio Hours for Faculty/Staff Doing University Work

University employees interested in supported, creative work in the ELC may use the studios weekdays from 9am-5pm. General self-booking hours start at 2pm, so talk to us if you want to record during the workday. Professional staff can be ready to simply book spaces for you, offer an orientation, complete a camera and mic check, all the way to full-service video production in our premier studio: Studio B.

Policies

RESERVATION TERMS - follow email notices and online reservation record.
All reservations will start and end at the specified times. All resources must be returned directly to Creative Media and patrons must notify staff at conclusion of space reservations. Reservations may not be extended to preserve other patron reservations, and will be subject to cancelation for late arrival after 15 minutes for space reservations and 8 hours after missed check out for equipment reservations. It is your responsibility to know open hours. Patrons with overdue equipment will have their privileges temporarily suspended, until equipment is returned. Abuse of the reservation terms could result in lost privileges.


UNIVERSITY ID CARD USE - use only your own University ID.
Patrons may only use equipment and spaces by presenting their own University ID. No patron of this program may use another individual's identity to use any equipment or spaces.


OVERDUE FEES - fees apply for equipment not returned within 24 hours of the due date.
You will incur a fee for each calendar day equipment is kept 24 hours past the due date. Daily fees are $15 per booking. Patrons with fees over $45 will have their privileges temporarily suspended, until fees are paid. Regardless of any fees, all items must be returned. [NOTE: one week following the due date, you will incur additional charges for unreturned items. Faculty & Staff may have an alternative fee process.]


DAMAGE FEES - you will be charged for damages you cause.
Patrons of this program will be held responsible for any operational or cosmetic damages that occur to our equipment or spaces during your use. Patrons are responsible for returning equipment in good working condition and must report any damage or malfunctions when they are discovered or occur.


THEFT & LOSS - you are responsible for items in your care.
Patrons will be held responsible, up to replacement cost plus expenses, for the theft or loss of any equipment checked out to them. Patrons are responsible for ensuring all parts and equipment are present upon check out and responsible for returning all parts and equipment as listed on the equipment reservation page when checking in the equipment. Creative Media equipment in a patron's care should never be left unattended.  Patrons may be held accountable for theft of equipment fraudulently checked out.
